ISM (Independent Spatial Management)
ISM is an Oracle based enterprise level spatial data management system that simplifies the management of GI data within an Oracle spatial data warehouse.It is unique within the industry in being completely vendor independent, allowing an organisation to move to storing GI data centrally in an Oracle database without the need to change the desktop software.
It works seamlessly with most of the GIS desktop applications available including MapInfo, Autodesk, CadCorp, ESRI, Microstation and Intergraph. ISM Brochure

ISM Web (High specification web based mapping software)
ISM Web is a robust customisable Web GIS which enables any organisation to distribute, manage, present and analyse spatial information in a standard web browser.It includes a rich set of easy-to-use standard and advanced GIS tools that can read and write to a variety of GI data sources. It can be used for data capture and edit with the same precision and quality that is normally only available from desktop CAD/GIS systems.
ISM Web can be completely based on Open Source software or use GIS server engines from MapInfo , ESRI, Intergraph.
ISM Web has been developed in Denmark and Sweden over many years and has been tailored for the UK market wth the help of Spatial Technology (UK).
This represents a real alternative to desktop mapping software and will greatly reduce the cost of software licences and the difficulties associated with managing desktop software. ISM Web Brochure
ISM MapView (Low cost, starter Web based GIS software)
ISM MapView has been developed by Spatial Technology (UK) for the UK Market. It provides an easy and very cost effective way to introduce the benefits of GI to a wide audience throughout an organisation.Included with MapView is an NLPG loader and search tool. This loader is flexible and can be configured to work with other address gazetteers such as OS Address Point, Address Layer 2 or other local gazetteers.
The key points are :
- It is based upon the open source web mapping service MapServer.
- It has an integral NLPG loader that has been developed to rapidly load, index and spatialise the NLPG DTF records.
- It comes complete with an address search tool allowing linking and loading to the NLPG.
- It also comes with the ONS locality gazetteer allowing the rapid searching and display of over 70,000 places in the UK.
- It is scalable in that the price is per server, NOT per cpu as other suppliers.
- At a later point, when the benefits of GI have been fully recognised, we can migrate you to ISM Web as well as our spatial data warehouse ISM.

ISM MapView will allow a large reduction in the number of desktop licences who only need to search for an address, locate it on a map and print it out, even more desktop licences can be removed when using ISM Web with the Data Capture and Edit module.
